Agape Center for Spiritual Living is a teaching community. We offer certified classes from The United Centers for Spiritual Living. Through our classes, we give you the opportunity to explore spiritual laws and test them to see if they can really work for you. We don’t ask you to simply believe what we say - we want you to prove it to yourself!

Classes offer you a chance to learn how to grow and increase your personal connection with God, yourself and others.

Agape Center for Spiritual Living provides a safe and loving educational environment grounded in the principles of Science of Mind which include:

At Agape we believe that classes and interaction with fellow class mate’s helps you better understand the Spiritual Laws and how to use them to positively affect your life. Classes provide you with practical tools to help ground you spiritually during your hectic everyday life.

Specific Information for classes in 2010

Pre-registration is available prior to the start of each class. Individuals register by signing up on line or after Sunday Celebration. Pre-registration ensures an adequate class size for experiential and a positive learning experience. At this time, the minimum number of students required for a class is ten.

Class Cancellation & Changes
Class may be cancelled even after registration begins. In this event pre-registered students will be notified immediately and if the fee was paid it will be refunded immediately.

Class Books
A list of required class books is indicated with each class description. In the event that book requirements change, the information will be provided prior to the start of class. Books should be purchased in advance of class.

Concurrent classes and tracks
Students may not take classes in the Science of Mind and Spirit Track concurrently. A course from the Science of Mind and Spirit Track may be taken concurrently with a class from a different track. Additionally, multiple classes may be taken concurrently from other tracks as long as any pre-requisite classes are completed.

Attendance / Class Requirements
All courses have attendance requirements. Only one absence is permitted per class. If a second absence is anticipated please notify the instructor. Three absences result in the student not being able to complete the course for credit, at that time.

All homework and financial requirements must be taken care of on or before the last class, unless other arrangements are made with the instructor. Make-up classes may be scheduled at the discretion of the instructor. The instructor determines the final decision on the successful completion of a class.

NOTE: When a student is unable to attend the Foundations Class Saturday workshop, they will be asked to attend the next Foundations Class Saturday workshop before they are identified as successfully completing the Foundations Class. Students may NOT enroll in another Science of Mind track class, until they have successfully completed the Foundations Class workshop.

Payment Plan
While payment for classes is expected at the beginning of each class, a payment plan may be arranged with the approval of the instructor. Classes must be paid in full before a certificate of completion is issued or before a student may register for another course.

Refund Policy
Refunds are available when the class has been paid prior to or at the beginning of the class sessions, based on the following:
1. The notification of dropping a class is made within three (3) weeks of the starting session and the class is 10 weeks or longer.
2. The notification of dropping a class is made within two (2) weeks of the starting session and the class is 8 or 9 weeks long.
3. If a class is 12 weeks or longer and is dropped after six (6) weeks, with approval, the collected tuition may be applied to the same class taken at the next offering. If it is not taken at the next offering, the tuition is relinquished without remittance.

Transfer of Class Credits
Religious Science International (RSI) students may transfer class work from Religious Science International churches. All unlicensed RSI practitioner students must take the Practitioner Training to be licensed as a UCSL Practitioner. A detail of completed RSI classes must be provided with copies of received certificates. For more details, contact Rev. Lee.

Affiliated New Thought Network (ANTN)
Students may transfer class work from ANTN Emerson Institute’s Practical Spirituality classes. For more details, contact Rev. Lee.

Other
All requests to transfer credits from Independent Religious Science Churches will be considered on an individual basis. For more details, contact Rev. Lee.

On-Line Classes
On-line classes are available for students who live 30 miles or more away from a church and who have made arrangements with the Rev. Lee. Under unusual circumstances, on-line classes may be considered for students within 30 miles of Agape, but only authorization from the Senior Minister.
